VeriCool offer a cost effective cashless catering solution for businesses looking to eliminate cash from the work place. Our system enables employees to load money onto their accounts using either VeriCool’s online payment portal or revaluation units. This enables a quicker service in the canteen at lunch time as there is no cash handling, money comes straight off employee’s accounts at the Epos tills.

VeriCool also provide pre-order units which gives employees the option to select what they would like for lunch on a daily basis. All selections will be linked to our reporting system, giving the catering staff the ability to view a list of all orders for the day, therefore reducing food wastage. Meals are paid for at the point of selection and employees will then be given a receipt of purchase, making collection quick and easy.

We are pleased with the way that the Vericool system has quickly established itself in the school. We have a large number on free school meals. The card, used by all, has removed the stigma of them being ticked off a list. Takings are up and queues reduced. Some parents have told us that they like being able to see what their child has eaten by checking on line. They can also be sure that whatever they have given their child is spent at school rather than at local shops. The system also allows us to control what certain students eat. For example if their parents have informed us of foods they cannot eat the system will tell us this prior to purchase.

We came to the realisation that only 30% of students who were entitled to Free School Meals were accessing the facility. We quickly realised that cash had to go and started our research into possible solutions. VeriCool met our objectives for simplicity and speed of turnaround and were extremely thoughtful. Vericool provided ongoing support to staff and students along with providing necessary training. Since installing the VeriCool solution, the number of students who now access the canteen facilities is on average 86% per day.

We now have VeriCool in and our staff are getting to grips with it and are seeing the benefits of the change.
