We can offer the following solution to your school with minimum financial outlay. The solution works as follows:

Students and staff can download the app from the App Store or Google Play.

Once food items are ordered the kitchen will receive a list of all items to prepare and get those items ready.

They can then follow the on-screen instructions to set up their account.

A kitchen receipt printer will produce a label per order which can be placed on a order ready for collection by the customer.

Once set up they can review their balance to ensure they have funds available, look at their order history and place an order.

This is a great app to enable students and staff to be able to pre-order food items and collect them at a designated location and time.

Orders can be for today or the future although there will be a relevant cut off to prevent them from ordering items and not giving the kitchen enough time to prepare them.

Great system and easy to use. Having used cards before this is so much easier. Easy to track what pupils are eating. Good technical support and fast call out service. Registering new pupils is easy, the whole year group can be done in a morning. From start to finish Vericool showed their knowledge and understanding of our school environment. They were flexible and professional from the start of the decision making progress to the implementation. Importantly they were very helpful during our migration of the MIS from dedicated Server to the Cloud. Their support is excellent with a dedicated service representative for our school.

We are pleased with the way that the Vericool system has quickly established itself in the school. We have a large number on free school meals. The card, used by all, has removed the stigma of them being ticked off a list. Takings are up and queues reduced. Some parents have told us that they like being able to see what their child has eaten by checking on line. They can also be sure that whatever they have given their child is spent at school rather than at local shops. The system also allows us to control what certain students eat. For example if their parents have informed us of foods they cannot eat the system will tell us this prior to purchase.

We came to the realisation that only 30% of students who were entitled to Free School Meals were accessing the facility. We quickly realised that cash had to go and started our research into possible solutions. VeriCool met our objectives for simplicity and speed of turnaround and were extremely thoughtful. Vericool provided ongoing support to staff and students along with providing necessary training. Since installing the VeriCool solution, the number of students who now access the canteen facilities is on average 86% per day.

We now have VeriCool in and our staff are getting to grips with it and are seeing the benefits of the change.
